2. Authenticity of Gemstones
All gemstones offered and sold by Abbott & Oaks are natural, earth-mined stones. We do not sell synthetic or lab-created gemstones unless explicitly stated.

3. Verification of Metals
We guarantee that the metal components of our jewelry have undergone rigorous testing. Every piece's metal content, whether gold, silver, platinum, or another alloy, is authenticated through electronic or acid testing procedures.

4. Assessment and Grading
Our gemstones' quality and weight are evaluated based on the standards set by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). However, since the gems are mounted, our assessments should be considered as estimates. Mountings can inhibit complete observation of gem characteristics. Unless we provide an accompanying independent laboratory report from GIA, AGL, or EGL, the data pertaining to the gemstones is approximate.

5. Accuracy and Period Determination
Pinpointing factors such as the jewelry's age, era of design, or its vintage status is a meticulous process. We use a combination of indicators, including but not limited to materials, craftsmanship methods, hallmarks, and technological advancements. However, given the intricate nature of jewelry design and overlapping influences, such determinations are best-effort approximations.

6. Liability
Abbott & Oaks shall not be liable for discrepancies arising from the inherent challenges of jewelry appraisal when items are set. Any decision based on the valuation provided should be made with consideration of the potential variance in the estimated and actual value.
