Abbott & Oaks Layaway Agreement
Please review the terms of your layaway before continuing.
1. Eligibility
Abbott & Oaks Layaway is available on eligible merchandise priced $2,000 and above.
2. Initial Deposit
A minimum deposit equal to 20% of the purchase price is required to begin a layaway. You may choose to make a larger initial deposit. Your deposit is applied toward the purchase price of your piece.
3. Layaway Term
You may select a biweekly plan, with a term of 2 weeks or longer paid every two weeks, or a monthly plan, with a term of 1 to 3 months paid monthly. No layaway term may exceed 3 months. Biweekly plans require automatic payments and cannot be changed to manual payments. The outstanding balance must be paid in full by the end of your selected term.
You may make additional payments or pay the remaining balance in full at any time through your Abbott & Oaks account.
4. Automatic Payments
By enrolling in automatic payments, you authorize Abbott & Oaks to charge your selected payment method according to your chosen payment schedule until the layaway balance has been paid in full.
If an automatic payment is declined or cannot be processed, you remain responsible for completing the payment and paying the balance in full within your selected layaway term.
4. Manual Payments
Your payment method will not be automatically charged for future layaway payments.
You are responsible for making each payment through your Abbott & Oaks account according to your selected payment schedule. Payment reminders may be sent as a courtesy, but it remains your responsibility to complete your payments within the selected layaway term.
5. Reservation of Your Piece
Once your initial deposit has been successfully processed, your piece will be reserved for you and removed from availability for purchase by other customers while your layaway remains active.
6. Complimentary Layaway
Abbott & Oaks Layaway is offered at no additional charge. No interest or layaway fees are added to the purchase price.
7. Shipping
Layaway pieces are held by Abbott & Oaks until the purchase price has been paid in full. Once the balance has been completed, your piece will be prepared and shipped to you with complimentary shipping.
8. Missed Payments & Incomplete Layaways
Payments must be completed according to your selected payment schedule.
If a scheduled payment cannot be processed, you are responsible for completing the payment. A missed payment remains due and does not move your later payment dates or extend your term. If the remaining balance has not been paid by the end of your selected layaway term, Abbott & Oaks may cancel the layaway unless an extension has been approved by Abbott & Oaks.
If a layaway is canceled, the cancellation terms below will apply.
8. Missed Payments & Incomplete Layaways
Payments should be made according to your selected payment schedule.
A missed payment remains due and does not move your later payment dates or extend your term. If the remaining balance has not been paid by the end of your selected layaway term, Abbott & Oaks may cancel the layaway unless an extension has been approved by Abbott & Oaks.
If a layaway is canceled, the cancellation terms below will apply.
9. Cancellations & Returns
If you cancel your layaway before the balance has been paid in full, Abbott & Oaks will retain 20% of the purchase price as a non-refundable deposit. Everything you have paid beyond that amount will be issued as Abbott & Oaks store credit. Payments are not refundable to the original form of payment.
If a piece purchased through layaway is returned after delivery and is otherwise eligible for return under the Abbott & Oaks Return Policy, the amount paid will be issued as Abbott & Oaks store credit.
10. Agreement
By signing below, you acknowledge that you have reviewed your layaway details and agree to the Abbott & Oaks Layaway Agreement, including the automatic payment, cancellation, return, and store credit terms described above.
